Super chief (+ Perfume)

Awww, I love Aiba's sincerity in feeling the fans' support that's why he wasn't scared to actually be placed that high in a fireman's ladder. And it's a good thing that the reporter felt it too! :)

OMG! I love it! Minamahal ko talaga si Aiba! Haha! XD

thanks for sharing!

At least he was polite enough to say kitto daijoubu. (kasama na syempre promo dun!)^^

Haha when I first heard it nabigla talaga ako na Pinay, este Pinoy pala 'yung caller.

hey great find, Huxley! I've came across that artist's work and collection books so many times so it's nice to see that program =)
Same as charurei, sana fan pa rin sya ng Arashi. And sana kahit papaano napasaya sya ni Aiba.

nakakatuwa naman yan..grabe!!!
you're? you're? you're? you're? you're? you're?

a filipino? O_O *shocku* ahehehe

Maraming matutulungan si Aiba... and sobrang angkop yung kanta. "Kitto Daijobu"

omg. that vid is superb. i rly thought it was real!

also, idk what you're talking about lol pinoy???

omg, wth, totoo ba yon, did she really ask aiba? *shocks* LOL
Yep s/he really did XD Didn't know Pinoy ka rin pala.
I'm glad somebody actually watched it! Because it's truly amazing for a fanvid. And it seems they were 1 year behind Tegoshi at Horikoshi High. It's Tagalog (the caller in the radio clip was Pinoy).
Jen! Will send trans for NinoLand soon m(_ _)m Haha I'd rather ask Sho-kun for advice ^^
Glad you found the link useful! Found the whole ep, but they won't load on my browser >< (and they were just getting to the good part; I really wanted to see him finish that canvas). Maybe they'll load on yours:

Yep I'm your kapamilya (or kapuso, take your pick ^^).
Oo nga sana Arashi fan pa rin si Bambi at hindi siya nabigo na 'kitto daijoubu' lang ang pinayo sa kanya ^^;
I'm wondering too.

galeng mo kasi mag jap eh ^_________^

Thanks for linking to the Nara video Huxley. I'm also very curious about the Jonetsu Tairiku series now. If you have the chance please share any more interesting eps you find. Do they cover mostly entertainment+arts personalities?

Nara's freehand sketches and his installations are very fun, but I like the gap between the informality of those and the fearful symmetry of his large girl/humanoid sculptures and his large scale "plate" paintings. Those are very hypnotic because of the positioning of the different parts of the face and body of the sculpture or painted girl, such as the eyes, ears, mouth, shape of head/face, and so on. Once you start staring at them your eyes will just keep moving unconsciously back and forth between those elements because of the way that they relate to one another spatially and then you just end up feeling kind of dizzy after that. He's popular in US it seems.

By the way am I the only one who finds the Jonetsu Tairiku narrator's voice very hypnotic as well? I am kind of intrigued by him. I wonder if he the same guy who played catch-ball with Nino in his episode?

Great to hear from you again! Would be glad to share the more interesting eps; need to find them again first tho 'cause I didn't bookmark the links. Most of what I've seen are of showbiz personalities, but they also cover people from other fields: rock climbers, cyclists, graphic designers, manga artists, etc. Someone just recently uploaded the entire Nara ep on YT: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3. We finally get to see him finish the canvas yay. I'm intrigued by the narrator too. He's this guy: Kubota Hitoshi. I don't think he goes on location to interact with the subjects tho...seems he's one of the most in-demand narrators in Japan and always busy with narrating jobs.
Jounetsu tairiku links! Enjoy:

Kudo Kankuro! - screenwriter of Kisarazu Cat's Eye and IWGP yeah

Koyamada Dai: 1 2 3 - world's #1 rock climber. This guy's unbelievable

Ichikawa Kamejiro: 1 2 3 - kabuki actor. When asked about his ambitions for the next year: "Nothing at all." Kinda like someone we know lol

Saito Takao - gekiga artist. His assistants have been with him since like forever and are well into their 40s and 50s

Anno Moyoco - manga artist. She's married to the guy who did Evangelion, who makes an appearance

Kubozuka Yousuke!!! - at the height of his career, before he dropped off the face of showbiz
Huxley! Thanks heaps for all these links. A very eclectic mix of them too. I only know three of them, Kankuro for sure, Moyoco from Mika Ninagawa and Shiina's Sakuran and nutty Kubozuka of course. It will take me a long time to enjoy all these. By the way, exactly how many languages do you know?
Hi eian, just four: native - Cebuano, fluent - English and Filipino (our official languages), just barely - Japanese. I studied Spanish before but can hardly remember anything ><

Ang kulit nila...heheh

ngayon ko lang ito narinig.

Buti nakita ko 'tong blog mo ^o^
