◎ Watched Jounetsu tairiku with YamaP and felt like watching more random eps; it's a riveting program. Now I know the artist responsible for the creepy-yet-fascinating little girls who grace eian's Vox. And this made me TT_TT:

Had no idea who they were, but this video is so good, I think I've become a fan ^^; Was so engrossed that I didn't realize it's just a fanvid and not an actual Jounetsu tairiku ep (yes it's that good). The maker of this video wins the award for most creative and dedicated fan ever. Arashi fans with l33t moviemaking skillz, please make one for Arashi too (or better yet, I hope Jounetsu tairiku covers them; they've done groups before).

Arashi's Aiba Masaki-san who was a fire chief for a day.

After rising to a height of up to 30 meters on the ladder truck, Aiba-san said this when he came down: "I thought I'd be more used to it than most people, but it was so scary." Actually, he also said this:

"It's not scary at all when there are fans below."

It was an offhand remark, but I thought it was such an Aiba-san thing to say.

The fear disappears when there are people who support and look on.

I come to understand the intensity of Aiba-san's professionalism and his sense of wanting to give a good performance.

Conversely, I also felt the greatness of the fans' power, the power of their cheers that could make Aiba-san forget his fears.

Aiba-san who was called 'super idol' during his junior days.
His cheerful, open, and lovable personality has never changed.

The sincerity of performing all the exercises that day with the utmost effort.
He even made everyone feel at ease with the crotch joke.

The reporters were also energized by Aiba-san.

I thought, "It was early in the morning, but I'm glad I came."
It seems that everyone also thought the same, and heading home to the train station, everyone was all smiles.

Arashi (Ohno Satoshi, Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari, Matsumoto Jun).

First time to work with the members of Arashi.
For one thing, we're 20 years apart in age.
So apart that until today, I couldn't put the members' faces and names together.

But speaking of Arashi's popularity in our midst......
The writer Takeuchi Yoshikazu-san, well over 50, has proclaimed himself to be an Arashi fan,
to the point of setting up a blog where he writes only about Arashi.

Before the actual taping, the 60-year-old Ogura Tomoaki-san also praised them profusely, saying,
"There's no better group than this".

'Homework! Research and report about smelly and delicious food'
'Asakusa Kid picks their 3 most dangerous work'
'Legendary men of the entertainment world! Kusano Hitoshi, Ogura Tomoaki'
'Pushing sumo match'
Etc. etc., happily we did them together.

The pushing sumo match, where I battled against all the Arashi members,
had quite a miracle ending.

And the Ogura Tomoaki Super Athlete Legend that I revealed ---
the real thing was better than hearsay this time around.

I encountered for the first time surstromming,
the world's smelliest fermented food product.

The members of Arashi

The 'Arashi fever' that Takeuchi-san talked so passionately about
during last summer's Psychic Meeting.

It completely got to me too.

Being thrilled even when the Arashi members who are younger
go at me saying, "Tama-cha~n"!

Sounds fun, can't wait to watch. And they actually know Yoshikazu-chan lol (maybe they brought him up?).

Among the three of us, I'm the one older by a year, so it seems like I'm the senpai, right? But it's actually MatsuJun who has been a junior the longest. When I became a junior, the first time I went to dance lessons, he kindly taught me the dance steps. At first my impression of him was, "He sure is small~. I bet he still can't ride the roller coaster at amusement parks" (laughs) But now, we're like the same height. His looks have also become more mature...The other day, I just happened to watch Bokura no yuuki, and MatsuJun's face back then was completely round (laughs). I didn't notice because we're always together, but he really has changed, both inside and outside. A long time ago, there was a Dragonball poster in MatsuJun's room, and I thought it was cute of him, but it's probably not there anymore. Speaking of MatsuJun's room, his clothes and stuff were all messily scattered about, so much that I was worrying over where I should sit (laughs). Me, I only have the bare necessities in my room, and I make it a rule not to bring unnecessary stuff in, so I was really surprised when I saw that room. That's not good~. We have to clean up sometimes!

I'd want Sho-kun to cook me a meal. At Sho-kun's house. I've never once eaten his home cooking, so I'm going to take advantage of this opportunity (laughs). It doesn't even have to be anything Christmasy; I'm totally fine with the ones made on Mago Mago Arashi's Bangohan corner. Like the one where he fried eggplants and then put mayonnaise on them --- that really looked so delicious. If I can eat a meal made by Sho-kun, I'm content.

Awww...not so secret after all XD

p.p.s. The last installment of Arajin is so cute! Thanks Mindy for posting the scans. Makes you go "awww...", especially the last half where they talk about future happiness:

Sho-kun: I'd want to see the faces of our children soon.
MatsuJun: I want to see that too.
Sho-kun: If I can get to see that, I'd probably be pretty happy already. Wouldn't it be great to see your own kids happily playing with the kids of the other members?

Sho-kun: We can do it up until the very last minute, can't we?
Aiba-chan: I can still dance even with a cane (laughs).
