Trying to catch up with Leader month, sorry for the Satoshi-spam:

My relationship with the members have also deepened over the past year. These days I'm close with Ohno-kun. Sometimes I'd get letters from fans saying, "You've gone from calling him Ohno-kun to Oh-chan?", but I wasn't really aware of that. I mean, there were times when I called him that before. You know, during our first days as Arashi, I talked to him in polite language. We talked in casual language during our junior days, but I have this tendency of using polite language with someone if I haven't seen him/her for a little while. I was nervous when we talked. But now I like call him "omae" * (laughs).
We didn't have any work on Ohno's birthday, so I sent him a message, along with a "Happy Birthday" tune. I set my phone to 11:59 pm, composed the message in a minute, and after just exactly midnight I sent it to him. But, he didn't reply...so I called him at about 4 am, but he didn't pick up either. I was really sad. Later I learned that Ohno-kun answered calls at that time, but didn't check his mail. It seems that all the other members gave him a call. I intended to be the very first one to greet him, but instead I'm thought of as the last...it's so sad (laughs). Edit 11/22
* "...'omae' can be used by two guys who are close friends talking to each
other, but if you say it to a stranger it's pretty insulting." Random: MatsuJun calls Inoue Mao "omae" (they must be really close...).
Nino Matsuri random article 9~ Another famous dude talking about Nino --- Wentz Eiji, one-half of WaT. He's a big fan of Kitto Daijoubu:

Lately I've developed a friendship with someone, and it's
promising to be a good one. That someone is Arashi's Ninomiya-kun. He
really struck me as an interesting person back when we appeared
together on a music program. Anyway, it seems that he also thought the
same of me, so we got to talking about going out for a drink sometime,
and we exchanged contact information. A little while back, we finally
did go out for a drink. Of course we talked about acting and work and
stuff like that, but generally we talked about what your average young
guys talk about. We didn't talk about music,
though. We got to talk about a lot of different stuff, and it really
got me thinking that he really is indeed an interesting person. He's
got an offbeat way of thinking.
One thing where we really hit it off was...
The end
Sorry the next page is too faint m(_ _)m
After reading this interview, I remembered Sho-kun talking about Wentz
on his radio show. To make up for the above abrupt ending:

Sho-kun MatsuJun Wentz Listener notes
Next, we have a letter from XX-san:
I
was reading a magazine the other day, and in an interview with WaT's
Wentz-kun, he was asked, "What's your recent prized CD?", and he
answered "Kitto Daijoubu by Arashi" Ehhh!
This made me kind of happy because I also like Wentz-kun as well as
Arashi. I heard that Kitto Daijoubu is also a recent favorite of Hirai
Ken-san and that he sings it at karaoke. He does, doesn't he.
Kitto Daijoubu sure is a hit with a lot of different people. I also
like this song very much because it cheers me up whenever I listen to
it. By the way, have you and the other members ever talked with WaT?
Well,
the fact that Hirai Ken-san likes Kitto Daijoubu is already a
well-known story among us. We were like, "Wow, that's so cool!" We were
surprised by the fact that Hirai Ken-san sings Kitto Daijoubu at
karaoke, and that he actually goes to karaoke (laughs). We were like,
"For real? What does he sing? What does he sing?" Really, we were
surprised by the fact that he actually goes to karaoke.
As
for WaT, we actually appeared together on Music Station before. I also
see Wentz-kun on variety shows, and I think he's funny and I really
like him and all, so I really wanted to talk to him. It so happened
that we were close to each other during the lineup, so I said to him,
"Wentz-kun, I saw your show. It was very funny." (polite language) Then MatsuJun goes like:
Yo, Wentz-kun, what's up? (informal)
I'm fine, thank you. (polite)
How've you been lately?
Ah, well, this and that blah blah...
After they finished talking, I called MatsuJun over:
Eh, MatsuJun, you're tight with Wentz-kun?
No, we just worked together once. (Gokusen episode 6)
What, only once? It really seemed like you knew each other. (laughs)
Actually, I was nervous just now.
So
yeah that happened...we appeared together with Wentz-kun, well WaT, on
a music program. I'm so happy that he says he likes Kitto Daijoubu.
That song is really getting rave reviews. I'm glad that we were able to
make such a good piece of music.
